Do I need to buy a domain?
Yes. If you want a custom domain (yourname.com), you’ll need to buy it yourself. I can help you connect it once it’s purchased.
Where should I buy my domain?
I recommend using Cloudflare as your domain registrar. It’s reliable, fairly priced, and makes setup easier. Other registrars can work, but Cloudflare is preferred.
Do I need to pay for hosting?
No. Simple one-page sites can be hosted for free on modern static platforms. The £7/month option is for me taking responsibility for keeping the site live.
What does the £7/month cover?
Ongoing responsibility. I keep the site online, maintain the setup, and fix issues if something breaks. It doesn’t include redesigns or new features.
